From June 2010 onwards, we are offering free sittings for child and family portrait shoots on alternate Saturdays. As with previous open days, your shoot will include a free 10 x 8 print as a memento. 

Previous free sitting days have been extremely well attended, so we limit sessions to 1 hour slots.  An hour is plenty of time for an individual child, family or small sibling group. Larger groups could consider booking an extended session to ensure the best results, especially if there's lots of little ones! If you're booking a longer session on these days, you'll still get the first hour free.

If you'd like to book a free photo shoot with us, then please contact us as soon as possible and we'll do what we can to accommodate you. We're currently accepting bookings for Saturday 17th & 31st July and 21st August.

A big thank you to everyone who attended our open day. It was nice to show you all around and we managed to get some great photographs too.

We've decided to do another open house with free mini-shoots on May 8th, so if you'd like to have a nose around and sample what we can do - drop us a message or give us a call and we'll book you in a time. The mini shoot is 100% free. Time is limited and we'd rather do 1 thing well than 3 things quickly... there's a free print for you and absolutely no obligation and no pressure to book a full session or buy anything, so do come along and enjoy some time with us.

We've have only 3 slots left for free mini shoots on our open day, Saturday April 10th. We picked up the keys today and the studio is very nearly finished. We've gone all "shabby chic" and the entire space is becoming a set. We can do the white wall thing of course, but, if you prefer to jump up and down on the sofas or play giant dice on a 120 year old oak floor, then that's fine too. There's a play area, a white wall, a relaxed lounge area that will double up as a shooting space and plenty of room to explore for our younger visitors.

If you don't fancy a shoot at the mo, but would like to come along and have a nose around, then please contact us and feel free to pop by for a glass of fizz and a quick looksie. While we've been studio-less, the weather's taken a pleasant turn so we've had a chance to do a bit outside (and at home). We've uploaded some new images to the portfolio if you care to take a look... and in the meantime, here's a preview.. This is Kai again, taken at St Mary's Church, Oldswinford.

Not everyone likes the bright lights and the unfamiliar environment. If that's you, we're quite happy to photograph you at home, or in a location of your choice. 

Kai isn't a big fan of standing still too long. While a lollypop bribe might get us 20 minutes on the whitewall, a relaxed and candid shoot at home can get excellent results with none of the fuss. Added to which, it can be taken over several spaces without the need for your young child to strike a pose. The latest additions to our people portfolio shows four such photos of Kai, as an alternative to the studio setting.

These photographs used only sunlight from the windows, so while it is nice for a photographer to control light - these photos, we hope, prove that in the right conditions you don't have to, even in doors. 

The new photography studio opens on April 10th and the first draw for the free photo shoot will take place on May 1st, but we're booking and shooting now if you'd like to get in touch in the meantime.
